It has been published since 1996 and has been growing gradually with each passing year. It comes out on Sundays and has a circulation of around 20 lakhs every week. The current editor-in-chief is Nana Patekar who has been with the magazine since its inception.

Eenadu Sunday magazine is a popular weekly entertainment magazine in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. The magazine was launched in December 1981 by Eenadu Group of Publications Limited, Hyderabad. The first issue was published on 9 January 1982.

The magazine is published by Eenadu Publications Limited, a publishing house owned by late K. Nageswara Rao, who was also the founder chairman of the company and one of the most successful film producers in Telugu cinema history.

The newspaper has been leading in its field since inception and it has a circulation of 5 million copies every week across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states excluding Guntur and Krishna districts where it enjoys limited circulation. Eenadu Sunday Magazine is the largest circulated Sunday magazine in India with a circulation of 1250,000 copies per week.

 Eenadu Sunday Magazine is a weekly mass circulation Family Entertainment Magazine. It is published in the month of October every year by Eenadu Enterprises Ltd., Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Eenadu Sunday Magazine is the most popular and largest circulated Sunday magazine in Telangana state of India with a total circulation of 16,000 copies every week. The magazine is published every Sunday.

Eenadu Sunday Magazine was started as a family magazine in 1981 by Dr.Sukumar Reddy and Mrs.Sukanya Reddy as an alternative to the old magazines like Sakaal Times & Taj International which were not popular among the readership.

The magazine got its name from its first issue which had a cover story on “Sunday” and it has been an all-rounder ever since then with a wide range of content ranging from children’s stories, quizzes, puzzles, comics & books etc…

The first issue of the paper was published on 1st May 1992 and it took six months for its circulation to increase from 1000 to 3000 copies per day. In 1995, the circulation increased further to 5000 copies per day. In 1996, there were 11000 copies sold every day and in 1997 it reached 42000 copies sold every day. In 2003, there were more than 60,000 copies sold every day and in 2004 it reached 100000 copies sold every day

The main aim of this newspaper is to inform people about current affairs in Andhra Pradesh and also provide them with information about their area or city which they can use to improve their lives by following their advice given in this newspaper
